Hello! My name is Carol and I seriously love home design and DIY projects. My husband, Brandon, enjoys carpentry and as a team we create some pretty awesome stuff!

I am constantly thinking up new design ideas to update our late 1980’s South Florida home. I never considered starting a blog but after persistent convincing from a good friend of mine (she’s seriously amazing), I figured, why not! Going off on my own professionally has provided me the extra time to focus on what I am most passionate about: home design and DIY projects.

I have always enjoyed crafting and DIY projects. For as long as I can remember, I loved to draw, to paint, to create and to update my space—painting it, moving furniture around and even painting my furniture. I consider myself lucky that my parents let me do most of the things I wanted to do. I’ve ruined my carpet, my walls, closet doors… the list goes on. Thanks Mom! Onward to adulthood and my strong desire and passion to craft and design has never left me.

Ultimately, I am pretty excited to share my passion with you all.

The goal of this website is to share easy to follow DIY tutorials and design ideas that are just as inspiring to my readers as they are beneficial while also encouraging myself to tap into my creative side.
